Not every concern requires air sampling. The property conditions should be assessed first so sampling is used purposefully and the results have useful context.
Are at-home mold test plates reliable?+
Settling plates can grow common environmental material but do not identify the moisture source, extent, or significance of a building concern. A professional assessment evaluates the property conditions first.
Do you perform mold remediation?+
T.A.P. Inspections provides independent mold assessment services. Keeping assessment separate from remediation helps ensure the findings and recommendations are not tied to selling cleanup work.
Can a mold assessment diagnose health symptoms?+
No. A mold assessment evaluates building conditions and laboratory findings; it does not provide medical diagnosis. Health concerns should be discussed with a qualified medical professional.
