Detailed Concern Interview
Review of odors, water events, occupancy patterns, symptoms reported by the client, HVAC operation, and areas of concern.
T.A.P. INSPECTIONSTRUSTWORTHY • ACCURATE • PROFESSIONALAssessment + Air Sampling
For concerns that require indoor air data, this package combines a visual and non-invasive building assessment with purposeful air sampling and independent laboratory analysis. The results are interpreted in the context of the property—not delivered as isolated numbers.
WHAT THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES
The sampling plan is based on the concern, room use, airflow, moisture history, and observations made during the assessment.
Review of odors, water events, occupancy patterns, symptoms reported by the client, HVAC operation, and areas of concern.
Evaluation of accessible concern areas and related building or HVAC-adjacent conditions at the time of inspection.
Relevant moisture readings and relative-humidity observations support interpretation of current conditions.
Indoor sample locations are selected to address the specific concern rather than distributed randomly.
An outdoor sample provides environmental context for evaluating indoor airborne fungal ecology.
Independent laboratory findings are reviewed together with property observations and documented recommendations.
WHY THIS SERVICE IS DIFFERENT
Air samples represent conditions during a limited sampling period. The assessment adds the moisture history, visible observations, HVAC context, and indoor/outdoor comparison needed to make those results more useful.
THE PROCESS
Each stage builds on the one before it so the final report answers a defined property question.
We identify the rooms, timing, occupancy, moisture history, and questions the air-sampling plan needs to address.
Accessible conditions are visually evaluated and relevant moisture and humidity information is collected.
The agreed indoor and outdoor samples are collected using professional equipment and submitted to an independent laboratory.
Laboratory findings are reviewed alongside the building assessment and delivered with clear written recommendations.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
PACKAGE QUESTIONS
The appropriate indoor and outdoor sampling scope is confirmed for the property and concern before the appointment. Larger buildings or multiple separated concern areas may require additional samples.
Outdoor fungal material is part of the normal environment. An outdoor comparison helps provide context for interpreting indoor air results collected during the same period.
Air sampling can provide useful evidence but cannot identify every concealed condition or pinpoint an exact hidden source by itself. Building observations and moisture investigation remain essential.
Laboratory timing is typically same or next day after receipt, but exact turnaround depends on collection time, transport, laboratory operations, and the authorized service.
