Concern & History Review
Discussion of the odor, staining, visible suspect growth, leak, storm event, HVAC issue, or other reason for the assessment.
T.A.P. INSPECTIONSTRUSTWORTHY • ACCURATE • PROFESSIONALBasic Mold Assessment
A focused visual and non-invasive assessment for a localized mold or moisture concern. The purpose is to document visible conditions, look for the moisture pattern behind the concern, and explain the appropriate next step.
WHAT THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES
This package is deliberately assessment-first. It helps determine whether the visible conditions can be explained without automatically adding laboratory samples.
Discussion of the odor, staining, visible suspect growth, leak, storm event, HVAC issue, or other reason for the assessment.
Evaluation of accessible areas related to the reported concern at the time of the assessment.
Non-destructive moisture measurements in accessible materials where they can add useful context.
Indoor humidity observations help evaluate whether environmental conditions may support microbial growth.
Visible plumbing, building-envelope, HVAC-condensation, or water-intrusion indicators are documented when observed.
A clear summary of observations, limitations, and recommended next steps based on the conditions present.
WHY THIS SERVICE IS DIFFERENT
That is intentional. Sampling without a defined question can add cost without explaining the property. If conditions show that laboratory sampling would materially improve the assessment, the options and added cost are discussed before collection.
THE PROCESS
The assessment stays centered on the reported concern and the accessible conditions that may explain it.
We identify the location, symptoms, timing, water history, and questions you need the assessment to answer.
The affected and related accessible areas are visually assessed with moisture and humidity observations where appropriate.
If testing is warranted, the proposed sample type, location, purpose, and cost are explained before authorization.
You receive documentation of what was observed and practical recommendations for next steps.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
PACKAGE QUESTIONS
It can be appropriate for a localized visible concern when the first priority is documenting conditions and identifying moisture clues. The assessment determines whether targeted sampling would add useful information.
No. The base package is an assessment without laboratory sampling. If sampling is recommended and authorized, additional samples are priced separately.
No. The assessment is visual and non-invasive. T.A.P. does not open walls or disassemble air handlers as part of this service.
The written findings can recommend appropriate next steps. The exact documentation required for a remediation project depends on the conditions, project size, and applicable requirements.
